Check and Rotate a Proxy

AntiLogin automatically checks an assigned proxy when a profile starts. You can also check it manually, especially when country, city, or a stable IP address matters for the account.

A successful check stays valid for 10 minutes. During that period, starting the profile does not trigger another check.

Check a Proxy Manually

  1. Find the proxy in the Profiles table or in Proxy Manager.
  2. Click the circular-arrows button next to the proxy. Its tooltip reads Check proxy.
  3. Wait for the check to finish.

After a successful check, the proxy shows a country flag, a green dot, and the external IP address. Compare them with the expected settings.

If the check fails, AntiLogin displays an error message. A proxy error can look like a website problem: for example, a page will not open or a no-network message appears.

Read the Status

  • A green dot and an IP address mean the check succeeded.
  • A gray dot and dash mean there is no current check result.
  • An error message means the proxy connection could not be established or its settings are incorrect.

Even after a successful check, make sure the country and IP fit the task. A working proxy in the wrong country may not fit a particular account.

Rotate an IP Address

IP rotation is available only when the proxy has an IP Change URL.

  1. Click the two-arrows button next to the proxy.
  2. Wait for the action to finish.
  3. Check the proxy again.
  4. Compare the new IP address with the previous one.
  5. Start the profile only after a successful check.

When Rotation Is Useful

  • Your provider offers a mobile or residential proxy with managed IP rotation.
  • The current IP address has been restricted.
  • Your scenario allows the IP address to change between sessions.

For accounts where a stable sign-in history matters, do not rotate the IP address without a reason.

If Rotation Does Not Work

  1. Make sure IP Change URL is filled in.
  2. Open the IP rotation URL following your provider's instructions.
  3. Make sure the provider actually assigns a new IP address.
  4. Check the proxy again after a pause.
  5. If the error remains, check the login, password, host, port, and proxy status with the provider.
